Introduction
Email is an easy to use and preferred method to communicate with their borrowers by for Lenders. It is considered as one of the trusted method of dispatch. Hence, communicating with the borrowers using Email is convenient and cost-effective as well.
How to Dispatch Digital Notices by Email?
Digital Dispatch using Email
- To start with Email dispatch the lender first needs to integrate Zeptomail (Email Service provider) credentials and webhook setup with Legodesk application. Either customers can use their Zeptomail credentials or request to the Legodesk support team to integrate Legodesk account credentials.
- Navigation: Integrations > Email > Add Email Settings
Here users need to fill up mandatory fields like Sender Email ID, Reply to Email ID and API Token provided by Zeptomail. Selecting ‘Submit’ Email service will be configured.
If required, users can configure multiple From ID and Reply To IDs.
2. Email Template Management:
- Navigation : Templates > Add Template > Email
- To proceed with Email dispatch, lenders need to create Templates similar to WhatsApp Template.
- Users need to select the appropriate Channel name and Sender ID from the drop down list.
- Add a template name. Add Email subject and body. Users can select required variables from the list for Email subject and body.
- Adding sample text against each selected variable is mandatory. After adding sample text, ‘Submit’ button gets enabled. Once the template is submitted it will go through a verification stage.
- If approved, template status will change to Approved and it will be available for template selection in the Dispatch window.
2. Dispatch Notice
- Navigation : Dispatch > Email > Start Dispatch
- Selecting Left Menu Dispatch > Email, Email Dispatch listing page will display with list of messages dispatched earlier.
- Users can see the dispatch details and status report by selecting the title link in the left column.
- Download reports by selecting the download button in the Action column of the listing page or Download button in the details page.
- Selecting ‘Start Dispatch’ button in the listing page will open the New Dispatch page
- Here the user needs to enter Job Title & Job Description.
- Select a desired Notice in the Add Notice section.
- Select a desired mode of dispatch Email and appropriate email template.
- If a user wants to dispatch notice using all medium of dispatch like Email, SMS and WhatsApp, they can also select a appropriate templates from that section.
- After selecting an Email template, the Preview and Test Message button will appear in the Email section. Selecting this button, Preview pop up will display with preview of the Email subject and body, along with a text box to enter upto 5 email ids. After entering desired email ids, users can hit the ‘Send Test Email’ button. Email will be delivered to the desired ids. This feature helps the user to check the message text before dispatching bulk emails to the actual borrowers.
- If everything goes well, users can hit the ‘Send’ button available at the top right corner of New Dispatch page.
- Dispatch details will display the delivery status report with CSV download options. The downloaded CSV report shows the details like individual notice link, mobile numbers, borrower details, dispatch status with timestamp.
